OSE Productions, Inc. is led by industry veteran Paul Banta.  He brings more than 25 years experience in event management, sponsorship, promotions, athlete services, and communications to assisting your event or business.

Banta's experience in the sport of road running and track & field is wide ranging.  He co-founded and managed Oregon International Athletics, a regional post-collegiate track & field team, developing the team into one of the nation's top clubs with 26 U.S. Olympic Trials qualifiers in 1992.  He led European competition tours and directed the Eugene Indoor,  Brathwaite Memorial, and Oregon Indoor track meets. 

He created and managed the adidas Oregon Track Classic, building it from a strong regional meet to a nationally-televised stop on the IAAF Grand Prix circuit.  He directed the nation's largest 10-mile race, the Army Ten-Miler in Washington, DC, for three years during which time the race doubled in size. 

For eight years, Banta and OSE Productions managed membership and promotions for Running USA, the trade organization for the running industry.  He built the membership steadily by providing useful information, promotions, and networking opportunities.  He also managed the organization's annual conference. 


Currently Banta and OSE Productions manages membership, internal communications and conference management for the triathlon business organization, Triathlon America.  He also produces the weekly Endurance Sports Business News, a free email newsletter distributed to over 2200 industry professionals. 

He also worked as a reporter for the Arkansas Gazette and the Charlotte Observer and in the sports information offices at Davidson College and the University of Arkansas.  Banta is a graduate of Davidson College and the University of Oregon.
